PUBLIC NOTICE

The Government of Jamaica intends to establish an independent investigation unit for the primary purpose of addressing instances of abuse by members of the security forces.

Members of the public are invited to submit their suggestions on the setting up of such a body. Your views may address any areas of this proposed entity, including organisational structure, function and composition of the investigating personnel.

Your suggestions should be sent by email or letter, no later than Wednesday, October 17, 2007,  to:
