Office of the Trustee in Bankruptcy The main function of this Department is the administration of bankrupt estates as prescribed by the Bankruptcy Act, to ensure that the rights of all concerned are protected. In addition, the Trustee in Bankruptcy is also responsible for the winding-up of Companies as prescribed in the Companies Act.
