Our MissionTo protect the interests of minors, beneficiaries, and creditors of the estates that the law requires the Administrator-General to administer.Established in 1873, the Department secures and manages the financial, business and real property assets of the estates; provides relief and on-going support to beneficiaries; and distributes the assets. In the execution of its duties, the Department provides information and advice to relatives, beneficiaries and/or representatives of deceased persons, principally in the case of intestacy.
